You are The Star

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Star is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised

The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing. This card suggests clarity of vision, spiritual insight. And, most importantly, that unexpected help will be coming, with water to quench your thirst, with a guiding light to the future. They might say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one.

What Tarot Card are You?

Global Art Project

"The Planet In Our Eyes" (The colour of our skin is different but we all see the same WORLD: united through PEACE!) created by Andra-Alida Baban of Baia Mare, Maramures, Romania for the 2004 Global Art Project exchange.
"What is my opinion about Global Art Project? Well it's the most wonderfull thing I ever did. You can't imagine how exciting is to finally know your match and share your own vision about global peace with that person.About my work, the painting represents a child, the simbol of the purity, which hopes for a united world and for a better one. He is the embodiment of all childrens of the world with all kinds of skin colour and colour of their eyes and hair.
I am one of those children and, like them I wish people would all be united through love and peace. This is the first time I participate in GAP but I'll make sure that it will not be the last time. Thank you for giving me this opportunity!!! With love and peace Andra (from Romania)

Project 7 - Spaces in Between

Subject
Depicting in a visual way the spaces in between objects.
Looking at the spaces that exist between buildings and walls as much as possible without using the actual objects or buildings as a focus in the drawing.

A1 - Pastels
Setting Up
You will need to find a space where there is a large presence of negative space.
In the city there are large areas of negative space along streets between buildings. Open cut mines are great spaces or spaces in a large shed. Spend some time looking at areas around where you live such as driveways or laneways, to find a negative space that intrigues you.

Project 6 - Movement - Ideas

Setting Up
Although the subject for this project is movement, the actual focus will depend on individual situations. For some students it might be appropriate to set up a workplace overlooking a freeway focusing on the moving traffic. Others may have access to rehearsals at a ballet studio or sporting facility. In this sense it is not important what the actual subject is, as long as there is movement present.

These were just ideas I had....this is when I was sick, I was so ill that I couldn't even get out of bed, it was really a difficult time....so I didn't get it finished .... and apparently I didn't represent movement enough.......funny that, as I couldn't hardly move a muscle and being confined to bed was hard!

Extension Project 1 - Reflections in Water

This activity is similar to Project One, in that it involves drawing reflections of yourself as well as a great deal of other very complex modes of depiction.
Your site for this project may be the bathroom where you will find reflections in water from a sink or bath. It may be your pool, a lake or a river nearby that provides you with an adequate, recognisable reflection of your face....

- trying to get a decent photo of this drawing is harder than it was to actually draw.....frustrating, because I know it is not such a great drawing,
but it DOES look a little better in reality than it does here!!!
